Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, where King Insurance was founded, he developed an early appreciation for the industry’s values and complexities. After earning his MBA and establishing a successful career in finance with Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers, he returned to Gainesville in 2008 to join his family’s agency. Immersing himself in every aspect of the business, he gained a comprehensive understanding of operations and a deep respect for the people and processes that sustain long-term success.
Since acquiring the company in 2013, Chad has transformed it into one of the largest and most respected insurance brokerages in the nation. Guided by a strategic vision built on three pillars—Operational Excellence, Playing at a Higher Level, and Teamwork—he has led the organization through sustained growth, strategic acquisitions, and a focus on continuous improvement.
